But of course! :D I was trying to think of good scenes from movies, like, involving movies...and there ya go.

Thats one of my fav scenes. That and the Ansel Adams, black and white part when Jim and George are by the beach.

Youre making me want to watch it again ;)

I liked Wuthering Heights up until the second half. :/ It didn't work as well.

I just...wasn't particularly impressed by the acting all round. That's pretty demanding dialogue, and not everyone can pull it off, I guess. I think Andrea Arnold said the first half was more "her," and I'm like 'well, yeah, that's why it's better.' I wasn't as annoyed as I thought I'd be about where they cut it off, though.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt; Heathcliff should be a force of nature & I didn't get that impression from this version. :/ Maybe I was spoiled by Ralph's interpretation of the character.

I totally didn't expect you to like Chronicle so much! That's awesome. :)
peppy miller!: Film - Ghost World[info]la_petite_singe on February 12th, 2012 06:14 pm (UTC)
(Good Lord, I've seen the 21 Jump Street trailer so many damn times that I heard that in Jonah Hill's voice. "When did I get stabbed? THAT'S AWESOME!") I didn't know if I would either, but it was great! Shit got so incredibly real at the end & I was just flailing everyone. Dunno if it's gonna make the top ten list or anything, but for a low-budget February release...awesome.

How do you do the things you do? The Cleveland International Film Festival is coming up, and I spotted Headhunters in the festival guide. I had a feeling I saw that title on this list of yours. Lo and behold, there it is!
peppy miller!: TV - Game of Thrones - Jaime[info]la_petite_singe on March 16th, 2012 03:50 am (UTC)
Hee! I cannot take any sort of credit for that one; that was from a certain lovely comm where certain lovely people upload things. I snagged it for Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and he's awesome in it, though the subtitles I had were really dodgy, and in the second half it does a few things that I just...I pretty much never turn movies off in the middle, but that was a close one. Even though it was good. I shan't spoil, but...GAHHHH.
